Key Accountabilities:


  • Responsible for sustainable growth, revenues and incoming orders of new business.
  • Responsible for maximizing revenues and contribution margins of Marine & Offshore Sales within assigned countries.
  • Meets set targets for expected actuals, earnings, sales and revenues for Marine & Offshore Sales within assigned countries.
  • Reaching the agreed budget figures for the sales of all products in the Marine Application in the allocated AOR.
  • Develops, schedules, coordinates and evaluates sales activities for key customers within the assigned countries.
  • Involvement in negotiations of important contracts
  • Cooperates with application engineering team to deal and follow up sales orders technically and commercially.
  • Controls, supervises and supports the performance of the distributors.
  • Prepares and conducts sales correspondence and reports.
  • Assistance in implementing strategies to increase market share, customer bases and meeting company’s sales targets and objective.
  • Keeping abreast to market information and developments.
  • Ensure timely registration and updates of marine projects in assigned countries in CEC.
  • Prepares and submits ADR, BnB as part of the offer process if required.
  • Verify commercial aspects and evaluate risks in collaboration with Controlling; modify quotation if required.
  • Obtain technical, commercial, legal and export control approval and modify quotation if required.
  • Acts as the first point of contact and coordinate with internal stakeholders and take decision regarding all key customer’s related end to end issues whilst adhering to RRPS guidelines and processes.
  • Key Account Management and Stakeholders (designer / owner) engagement
  • Ensure customer’s satisfaction and maintaining a positive user experience in dealing with RRPS.
  • Grow service sales revenue.
  • Shares responsibility for implementation of strategy for BU Marine & Offshore within sales region by analyzing application- and market-specific sales data, verifying this data and prioritizing re. customer- and RRPS-relevant aspects.
  • Detects and acts on market trends and potentials in a timely manner.
  • Shares responsibility for launch of new products and regional specific marketing plans within assigned countries.
  • Responsible for (measurable) success of seminars, road shows, end-customers marketing, etc. to increase market penetration within APAC.
  • Provides the design, drawing and documents for the customer’s technical requirements
  • Verifies and selects the right equipment/suppliers with application engineering
  • Provides the technical specifications and defines the scope of supply for the equipment.
  • Prepares and carries out standard technical presentations and training
  • Oversees the order processing in compliance with the contractual requirements
  • To raise the necessary purchase requisitions for the scope of supply
  • Provides customer order support
  • Visits the customers for the technical assistance/clarification of the order, application engineering and drawings/documents. 
  • Responsible as one of stakeholder for evaluating of third-party items and sub-contracting operation of the sales orders.
  • Prepares Sales Order Form, Internal Works Order and liaise with the project members for handing over the engine orders
  • Updates himself with the technical developments and with training
  • Travels overseas on business, when required.
  • Special assignment from time to time


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Min. 5-7 years’ working experience in related field
  • Understanding of Asian cultures and business practices
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in English language and one additional language
  • A team player
